seems to have no financial difference in coupon barcodes. Therefore, can you buy the higher price product at the lower coupond price when the coupon was meant for the lower price item?Mfgs. that have multiple products that are similar, but have a difference in price and offer coupons...there?
It depends upon the barcode. In a coupon barcode, there are a couple of items that are used to validate that the item you are purchasing is the one featured on the coupon. Some manufacturers are better than others at making sure each item has unique codes %26amp; some clump them together. If #s 6 - 8 on the coupon are identical, then you could be in the clear. If not, the cash register's point of sale will not identify it.
